WE’VE TEAMED UP WITH PATH TO PARIS
Our collaboration with the official TeamGB and ParalympicsGB engagement programme is a perfect fit. We aim to get young people more involved in sports through education. This collaboration enriches the Road 2 Paris programme, enabling it to reach a broader audience and impact the children more deeply.
OUR WORKSHOPS ARE TAILORED TO KS1 AND KS2 PUPILS AND INCLUDE AN EMPHASIS ON THE OLYMPIC AND PARALYMPIC VALUES:

We introduce children to a series of sporting activities that they rarely experience at primary school age.
Our workshops started in the build-up to London 2012 and continued throughout the Rio and Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games. Hundreds of schools have taken part in many workshops delivered by our experienced team.
We can’t wait to meet your school, share the magic of the Games with your children and help inspire the next generation.
ACTIVITIES
GOALBALL
Goalball is specifically designed for visually impaired athletes. To play, the children will wear blackout masks and use a ball with a bell in it. Through this activity, children’s hand-eye coordination improves, strength builds, and flexibility increases.
Paralympics – KS1 and KS2
SHOOTING
In the Melbourne Olympic Games in 1956, Canada’s Gerald Ouellete showed amazing concentration and focus when he achieved the perfect score of 600 in the rifle event, hitting 60 bullseyes in a row! Your pupil’s hand-eye coordination will be challenged with this Nerf target activity.
Olympics – KS1
BOXING
Only male athletes were able to compete in boxing until the 2012 Olympic Games in London, where Great Britain’s Nicola Adams became the first woman to win an Olympic boxing title. Building both mental and physical strength, this event sees children take part in combat-style challenges using gloves and pads.
Olympics – KS1 and KS2
BOCCIA
Boccia, pronounced “Botcha” is a target sport that will challenge and test your children’s muscle control and accuracy.
Paralympics – KS1 and KS2
ATHLETICS
Athletics events at the Games range from ten seconds to two days. Rest assured, our timescales are towards the shorter end. At our Athletics station, children take part in standing long jump and speed bounce.
Olympics – KS1
ARCHERY
To get within the ‘gold ring’, Olympic archers have to be able to hit a target the size of a tennis ball from a distance of seven bus lengths! Your pupils will be experiencing archery using a soft archery set aiming to hit the bullseye from a shorter distance!
Olympics – KS2
WHEELCHAIR RACE
An opportunity for children to experience one of the standout events at the Games. Children learn the skills required to power and navigate a wheelchair around a course against an opponent.
Paralympics – KS2
Activities provided are dependent upon hall space and weather conditions.
